Fun to read about so many classmates and find out what you've been doing since high school. I have lived in Woodinville Washington since 1969. My husband of 48 years passed away almost 5 years ago but was a teacher in Seattle. We met at Fullerton College. We have 3 grown children (two daughters and a son) and six grandchildren. We all live close to each other.

My husband & I have been married for 49 years, have 3 biological sons & 1 adopted Korean daughter. One of the sons is married & has our only granddaughter & twin grandsons. We've lived in Arizona since 1996 & love it here! However, our sons live in CA so we really miss being closer to them & the grand kids. Isn't Skype great though?! I moved to South Carolina for my junior & senior years but feel like LHHS is MY school too. Even though I didn't graduate from LHHS I crashed the reunion & really enjoyed it! So much fun reconnecting with old friends. Jeff Steingraber - 08-20-2013
I just finished perusing the photos from the 50th Reunion. Who are these people who claim to be from the LHHS/Lowell Class of '63? I think some UFO has landed and an ET replaced my classmates with some alien species. Boy have you guys changed. I, on the other hand, look exactly as I did in our senior year. Like the Eloi in 'The Time Machine' I have never aged. Hah, if only it were so...
Seriously, I am so sorry to have missed seeing you guys 'n gals. NOTHING will keep me away from the next gathering of the 'clan'.
I do have a couple of suggestions:
1. Girls, please include your maiden name when contacting any of us. For example: Nancy (Henley) Harrington. I can usually figure out who you are but am not always successful.
2. I think we should post our bios in the 'Contact Classmates' portion of this site rather than in the 'Guestbook' section. It's a lot easier to read about our activities by going to one place, where we can associate the information with a face we remember.
I've lived in New Orleans since 1988 and I've learned that if there is one single thing that sets this part of the nation apart from the rest of the USA it's this: hospitality. So should any of you ever visit this way please feel free to contact me for a tiny, tiny reunion of our own.
And finally - GEAUX SAINTS! Yes, I still like football, despite some painful memories.

Just wanted to say 'Thank You' to the reunion committee. Excellent job! I've heard a few classmates say, 'it was the best one yet' Marshall (class of '60) and I have enjoyed all of them
equally. As reunions go, everyone seems to relax a bit more with each one.
Thanks again to the whole committee......you are all amazing! CANDI TAYLOR - 08-17-2013
GREAT JOB ALL OF YOU!!! I think we should do it again next year. Marji said she can't wait to get started on the next one 8>)

Hi, everyone. I am so bummed that I was unable to attend the reunion. There are so many I wanted to see and catch up on the last 50 years. Many thanks go the the committee who worked so hard and for so long to make it a wonderful event. I can't wait to see pictures. Jim (Cook - class of 62) and I have been married for 44 years. We moved to Matthews, NC 4 1/2 year ago to be near our 2 wonderful grandchildren and love experiencing a whole new part of the US. We do love it here. I retired from the City of La Habra as the Human Resource Director after almost 40 years. Jim retired from the City of Garden Grove. Life has been very good to us and we are truly blessed. Hope to see y'all at the next reunion! Judy Hopkins Wendkos - 08-12-2013
The Reunion was absolutely wonderful for me even if I only attended the dinner. Thank you Committee for a well planned Reunion. The food was great. The slide show fun! I know many hours were spent to make this memorable event meaningful for all of us who attended. I would love to get a hold of some of the class pictures from Lowell Elementary School from each grade level from K - 8th! I have first and third grades only...of course, I would like to find or have the ones I am in! It was so much fun for me to see a few of my classmates from Elementary School and from La Habra High School and of course, Lowell. Wish I could have seen and talked with more classmates, some who were there and some not there. Anyway, thank you Committee for a FABULOUS EVENING! WELL DONE! Sally Roesch Weir - 07-23-2013
Very excited to share this time with all of you reminiscing 50 years. Where did the years go? My life has been blessed with my husband , Tom and four sons. Celebrating our reunion, 45th anniversary and Tom's 70th birthday all in the same month. Life is good. See you all soon. Nancy (Peters) Winter - 07-15-2013
Hello to everybody! It is unbelievable that 50 years have passed. For me it involved graduating from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in communications and having three children - all six years apart. Married 18 years to Lloyd Porter, single for 8 years, and now married to 'the handsome prince', Hugh Winter, for almost 22 years (he proposed on a white horse wearing a knight costume). He has three wonderful children and together we have 13 grandchildren.
We have an insurance business which deals with helping educators with their retirement needs, involving annuities and life insurance. We also have some rental properties.
We love to travel and have explored Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti and love to travel with Overseas Adventure Travel because of the small groups. We have been to Peru, Turkey and China with them. We are looking for our next adventures to be Africa and Thailand.
We still help take care of my father, age 92, and Hugh's mom, age 95.
Hope to see you at the reunion or our door is always open in Laguna Hills. Pat Shaffer Siegel - 07-14-2013
Hi everyone, I can't make it to the reunion but I send good wishes to all my former classmates and friends! I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming now. Have been married for 47 years and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. W retired a couple of years ago and enjoy our Jackson outdoor life, travel, golf and our family. I ran into Judy Sechrist who was living in Dubois, Wyoming a couple of years ago. Fun to see old friends. I will miss everyone and hope you have a great time! Janette (aka Janet) Stone Hammond - 07-12-2013
Hi, Everyone! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the Reunion, as we are 'crunching' creating a new business that my dog, Maggie instigated. In March 2013 we got a Provisional Patent on a 'Protective System of socks for Dogs' - we call them MaggyMoo Sokks(TM). They kept her from licking a long-term infection on one foot, and from chewing bandages off after three different surgeries on that foot! So for this year, I am busy creating many different sizes, selling them to Specialty Vet's offices, and creating all the other parts of the business! A year ago, would I EVER have envisioned this - NO! But Life does have it's own way!
To 'fill in' the other 49 years: After 2 years at Pomona College (and already hooking up with my 1st husband) I transferred to USC for Dental Hygiene, and graduated there in ’67. In total, I spent 36 years practicing dental hygiene (DH) part time, usually 2-3 days per week. At the same time I was mother of 2 and full time wife. I also started Ear Candling in ’91 as my first private holistic health business outside of DH. In ’86 to ’90 I was Office Manager for my husband’s computer start-up in Silicon Valley. Went back to DH after that, and divorced him after 27 years in ‘94. Single only a year before meeting my 2nd husband and travelled a total of 13 months in East Africa. From ’94 to 2002 I did a lot of travelling to study Energy with a group of like-minded friends/healers – about 14 times to Chaco Canyon, NM, Japan for 4 months, Africa, and 3 trips to Egypt. I feel very fortunate to have done all that when it showed up!
Finally I 'did it right' - and Eric and I met 9 years ago, and just celebrated our 7th anniversary in March. What a difference to have a Partner in Life. He also is a GREAT partner with me in loving my 2 granddaughters and his 2 grandsons. We live in Port Ludlow, WA, where I wake up each morning grateful for every bit of my Life and Lessons, and excited to see what this next Chapter will bring!
Our home is always open for visitors! Have a GREAT reunion. I am doing a 'cyber reunion' with 2 of our classmates at the moment. Very fun.
